Course Objectives
This three-day program provides an interactive learning environment for auditors of the TL 9000 5.0/4.0 requirements and measurements. The program is structured to “bridge the gap” between ISO 9001 and TL 9000 from the perspective of an auditor. Step-by-step you’ll learn how to audit the specific requirements of TL 9000, and how to verify effective implementation of the TL 9000 requirements and measurements.
Through dynamic learning activities, workshops, case studies and instructor-led discussions, you will be given challenging tasks that reinforce the key points of each module. There is an exam on the final day to demonstrate knowledge and comprehension. The TL 9000 Requirements and Measurements Handbooks are supplied.
Certificates will be issued for all participants who successfully complete this course AND the appropriate prerequisites listed below.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a required course for any 3rd party registrar auditor doing TL9000 certification and surveillance audits.

Prerequisites
Prior knowledge of ISO 9001 is strongly recommended. For
new Registrar auditors

All attendees
are required to have previous quality management auditing experience or previous ISO 9001 auditing training.
All attendees
must successfully complete the
TL9000 R5.0 Requirements
e-learning course and the
TL 9000 R4.0 Measurements Overview, Common and Hardware Measurements
e-learning course
or alternatively
Attendees may complete the instructor led TL 9000 Release 5.0 Requirements and 4.0 Measurements Course.
New Registrar auditors
must also successfully complete the
TL9000 R4.0 Outage Measurements, TL9000 R4.0 Service Measurements
, and
TL9000 R4.0 Software Measurements e-learning courses.
Internal auditors
are recommended to complete the TL9000 Measurements e-learning course in the specialty area appropriate to their organization (Outage, Service, and/or Software Measurements).
Note: Successful completion of this QuEST Forum sanctioned training course, with a passing score on the exam, satisfies the QuEST Forum requirements for “TL 9000 QMS Auditing”, a prerequisite for all third-party auditors employed by a registrar planning on performing registration assessments to TL 9000.
