 Benefits

To assist organizations meet their constantly evolving and ever more demanding business needs, SAI Global has developed a methodology to enable your organization to develop an integrated management system that is focused on business performance. A truly integrated business management system framework is presented that utilizes available business excellence models and leading international management standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Process improvement takes place within the program rather than being sent out to an independently operating group. A business excellence framework will enhance the overall performance of the integrated conformance program.

By creating a totally integrated foundation, your organization will develop a robust and functional business management system that moves well beyond the "combined" systems promoted by others. The principal aim of SAI Global's two-day course is to help you leverage the integrated business management system model to maximize and sustain the creation of true business value for your organization.

 Course Objectives

Today, organizations of all sizes are under pressure to provide improvement in all aspects of their performance in a never ending effort to attain "world class" status. These same organizations have developed internal management systems that control certain portions of their operations such as quality, environmental, regulatory and health and safety.

While these formal approaches have provided some gains, the leaders of these organizations have realized that independently operated management systems cannot sustain continuous improvement. It has been shown that these independent systems have caused organizational inefficiencies due to the development and operation of duplicate or parallel systems. In extreme cases, management system goals contain conflicting objectives which further dilute and hinder business performance.

Combining of like elements in these management systems is not the answer. Organizations have the need for a single, integrated business management system that simply and clearly defines day-to-day operations, is easily understood by employees and, at the same time, satisfies all business and customer requirements.
