Course Objectives

This 1-day course provides attendees with practical and challenging tasks on how not only to audit the PCMAP requirements, but more importantly to ensure through auditing an effective management system infrastructure exists to exceed customer expectations.

Attendees will learn through instructor-led presentations, interactive class discussions, activities, a case study and examples to auditing the PCMAP requirements. The methodology is based on the ISO 19011:2011 standard and follows good audit practices to ensure proper planning, implementation, reporting and follow-up of audits.

Guidelines provided by the Council are a key input to this training, which includes valuable insight to the expectations by the Council as well as the certification body. This includes viewing the ISO 22716 and ISO 9001 as complementary documents to achieve a truly effective management system.

The supply chain is being viewed as a ‘tiered’ structure, by the use of multiple Risk Level Categories, which drives the expectation to different levels depending on the criticality of the supplier.
